Whether you like your hedges straight or wavey, as high as possible or to be kept at a lower height, we are always willing to work to your preferences. We are able to work up to heights of 10m!

There are times where your hedges may need a reduction in height and/or width. During your free quote we will be able to recommend how & when we think it would be best to go about your specific job, to ensure your end goal is best achieved. Sometimes you need to take the plunge 

If you're wanting some of your hedges to really standout and take your garden to the next level then a bit of topiary might be what you're looking for.

Any geometric shapes, letters, numbers we can turn your hedges into these shapes or even cut these shapes into your hedge!

We also can arrange our talented fabricator to weld together your design as a frame to have your hedge grow within it that we can easily cut to shape when required. 

No lawn too small. (up to 500m2)

We use the best self propelled push mowers on the market. Our Honda machines give you a very clean cut and tidy finish everytime!

We sharpen our own blades fortnightly to ensure that every client continues to get a high quality finish. 

We also clean out old clippings from underneath the decks from job to job to minimize the spread of any weeds/grass seed from previous jobs onto your lawn. 

Lawns over 500m2

This is when we will bring our ride-on machines in to complete your job.

We have a variety of deck sizes to best suit your lawn size or access size, 

from 42", 46", 60".

We sharpen our own blades fortnightly to ensure that every client continues to get a high quality finish. 

We also clean out our ride-on decks from job to job to minimize the spread of any weeds/grass seed from previous jobs onto your lawn. 

Paddock overgrown? We subcontract out to our trusty and talented tractor slashing operator. By doing this through us you know the 'Jono's Hedges' quality will be upheld. 

Small Lawns (up to 500m2);

- Aeration or Coring,

- Soil top dressing,

Larger Lawns(500m2 - 5000m2;

- Aeration,

- Identification of weeds,

- Choosing the correct selective chemical/herbicide group that will only kill the weed and not the grass.

- Application via backpack or tow behind sprayer (depending on size).

Clearing of thick 'woody' weeds. 

A form of land clearing, useful in places where a slasher can not access; high degree slopes, or close to bodies of water. 

This service is also ideal if you're wanting to complete some slashing but you would like a certain selection of new trees/plants to be untouched. We can complete this before slashing to make it clear to the operator of the slashing what needs to be left.

Installation of a variety of drip or above ground irrigation.

Although a relatively simple job, depending on the size of your garden, this can quickly turn into a very labour intensive and timely job. 

Depending on your circumstances we can use a generic glyphosate herbicide or we can use a organic herbicide if this is your preference.

Pickup and/or spreading of mulch.

We are always happy to guide you as to what type of mulch/bark we think might look best in your garden, as well as give your garden the best chances to thrive.

We can use both liquid and/or granular fertilisers. 

We can test the PH levels of your soil and work out which fertiliser would be the best to use  on your plats as well as factoring in  what time of the year it is. We can guide you as to which product we would reccomend applying and also carry out this job for you to give your garden the  best results.

Removal of any green-waste on site.

Small amounts of general litter/rubbish will be placed in the clients appropriate bins. Otherwise this rubbish can be organised to be taken away.

Removal of natural debri out of your gutters.

If you are entitled to a gardening package as part of your insurance claim. Then you can contact us to see if we have already signed up with your provider or if we haven't done so already we'd be willing to fill out the necessary documentation.

For those with a NDIS package and are entitled to receiving 'gardening services' as apart of their care, we would love to help out. 

We understand loud noises and "strangers" being around the property might be quite distressing for the client. We are willing to work with you as to how best to rectify this situation.

If you're living or working out of a strata complex and you're wanting to improve the look of the common/shared areas. 

We can service you no matter which strata company manages your complex. 

We understand that it would be far from ideal to have your gardens attended to during your operating hours  with the added noise and distraction to the children in your care. 

This is why we provide "out of business hours" services, which would suit most day-care/child care facilities perfectly.

Regardless, all employees here at 'Jono's Hedges' are required by us to have both their 'Working with children checks' and 'Police checks' current and compliant for your piece of mind.
